I have been away for awhile, attempting to get some purchase on an academic project that pays the bills. In the mean time, however, I've managed to write up a couple of "think pieces." One is on the Middle East and the other is on the "neo-secessionist" in the Democratic Party, that I'll try to post soon. I'm not quite satisfied with them yet.
